Works Building:

“Generator install application forms will need to be filled out by successful bidder and sent back to Georgia Power (GA Power) for review by their designated representative and reliability team to ensure it is an approved system, including the necessary transfer schemes to prevent back feed. Once approved, GA Power will meet on site with the successful bidder and go over where and how this equipment is to be installed and how transfer will be handled. Project could require the relocation of existing facilities to maintain clearance from gas meters, windows, and other equipment. Once coordination is complete with GA Power, they will coordinate a day to get the service dropped for the installation of the equipment. Once it’s signed off by the GA

Power inspector, GA Power will come back and re-energize the service. Generally, this is done in one day, but final coordination and schedule will be required by the successful bidder.
