About this file
This document is a Notice of Intent from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS) for a Fiscal Year 2026 Fingerprint Biometric Devices Maintenance Amendment. The contract will cover an emergency one-year period from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026, focusing on ongoing maintenance, support, and repair agreements for fingerprint biometric devices already purchased and deployed by law enforcement entities across Massachusetts. The procurement involves continuing maintenance services with three previously awarded vendors: Idemia, HID Global Corporation, and Dataworks Plus.
The contract is being reposted under the original bid solicitation number BD-15-1044-EPS17-1044P-0000000356 and is deemed critical for public safety, as these biometric devices are utilized statewide and any disruption in maintenance and support could be detrimental to law enforcement operations.
