About this file
This is Amendment 000002 to Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) No. 31310025K0001 for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's University Nuclear Leadership Program Research and Development Grant for FY2025. The amendment makes two key changes: it extends the submission deadline to February 14, 2025, and reposts information from Amendment 000001 that had technical posting issues on Grants.gov. The original NOFO was released on November 27, 2024, with multiple grant awards anticipated.
Amendment 000001, which is also referenced, modified the terms regarding changes in recipient organizations, specifically prohibiting any change of recipient/grantee organization or addition of new subrecipients/sub-awardees after application submission. The funding opportunity is authorized under the Federal Grant and Cooperative Agreement Act of 1977 and the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, and falls under the NRC's Scholarship and Fellowship Program (CFDA 77.008).
