About this file
This document is a flyer announcing upcoming office hours hosted by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Idaho State Office to provide assistance with the FY25 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the BLM Idaho Aquatic Resource Management program. The office hours will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams on three dates in December 2024 and January 2025.
The FY25 NOFO seeks proposals for projects that contribute to the core functions of the BLM Idaho Aquatic Resources Program, including ecosystem restoration, water quality and availability, habitat protection and restoration, and compliance with environmental regulations. Eligible applicants include a wide range of organizations such as state/local governments, tribes, non-profits, and educational institutions. The program supports projects funded through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the Inflation Reduction Act. Key program focus areas include combating climate change impacts, restoring degraded aquatic resources, and increasing public awareness, especially for underserved communities. The BLM contact information is provided for questions or assistance with the office hours or the NOFO.

We can provide clarification on organization and proposal eligibility, talk through how to complete the paperwork, etc.
Note: 2 CFR 1402.204 requires fair and impartial competition with funding announcements. Therefore, we cannot talk specifics about applications, such as if the proposal is merit-worthy, what specific projects the BLM wants to fund, or specific project locations.
