About this file
This document is a Pre-Solicitation package for the Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity's (MCTSSA) FY25 MAGTF Afloat Integration Environment (MAIE) Communications Equipment procurement. The solicitation seeks qualified vendors to provide five specific pieces of communications equipment: two PowerEdge R650 Servers, one Dell Mobile Precision Workstation 7680 CTOG, and two ruggedized high-capacity administrative laptops, all necessary to support naval network integration and tactical systems testing.
The equipment is specifically required to support ADNS and CANES naval network environments, with technical specifications emphasizing Windows 10 compliance, high computational power, substantial memory and storage capacity, and capabilities for virtual machine hosting, AI/machine learning experimentation, and cybersecurity adversarial testing. The procurement is explicitly noted as non-MCHS (Marine Corps Health System) due to existing options not meeting the required technical specifications. The solicitation number is M68909-25-I-7619, and the release date is April 10, 2025, with the purpose of meeting Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements for competition and transparency.

| Overview: MCTSSA requires the acquisition of communications infrastructure for the MAIE lab used for Naval integrations and MEU support. | Comment by Wade CIV Spence A: Spell out MCTSSA first in the purpose of release section | Comment by Wade CIV Spence A: Spell out first use in title |
The MAIE requirement includes supporting the ADNS and CANES navel network environment communications equipment and supporting infrastructure. Two (2) PowerEdge R650 Servers or similar severs are needed to support the transport and compute requirements on the communications system. One (1) Dell Mobile Precision Workstation 7680 CTOG or similar machine is needed to load the GCS-FP software to test with AFATDS as stated by the program manager.
Furthermore, the Naval Integration Team requires two (2) ruggedized, robust, high-capacity admin laptop machines to interface with the functional equivalent shipboard C4 systems environment being built out in the lab. These machines need to be Windows 10 compliant, and have sufficient computer power, memory, storage, and resources. They will be used to support interoperability with numerous complex Navy and Marine Corps systems, host virtual machine (VM) servers, implement client VMs, support AI/Machine learning in potential future experimentation efforts, and support general programming during engineering and developmental testing of MAGTF tactical systems.
Additionally, they may be required to support and provide advanced cybersecurity adversarial testing capability. Therefore, these are non-MCHS procurements due to MCHS options not meeting required speed, storage, cores, and GPU memory size requirements necessary to perform all planned functions.
Not having these five (5) pieces of certain communications equipment or similar equivalents will limit the capabilities of the MAIE and its usefulness to the naval integrations team.
