About this file
This document is a Sole Source Justification for the United States Secret Service (USSS) to award a sole source contract to Compulink Management Center, Inc., dba Laserfiche, for Laserfiche software support. The USSS requires continued support for the Laserfiche software currently in use, as Laserfiche is the sole developer and owner of the software and intellectual property. Market research indicates Laserfiche is the only company capable of providing the necessary support. The USSS intends to award this sole source contract under FAR Subpart 13.5 for commercial items, with an anticipated contract value exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. The USSS has determined the anticipated cost will be fair and reasonable based on market research, price comparisons, and an independent government estimate. No other sources expressed interest in this requirement after the USSS published a notice. The USSS will continue to research the market for additional Laserfiche vendors that may be able to support this software in the future.
