About this file
This document is a scoring criteria for the MARCS Tower Inspections contract opportunity in the state of Ohio for Fiscal Year 2024 (July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024). The scope of work involves routine inspections of communication towers located throughout Ohio, which aims to identify potential structural issues and allow for proactive maintenance to ensure reliable service to first responder customers while managing costs. The scoring criteria evaluates vendors on their capability and capacity to undertake all MARCS requirements, such as communication with MARCS staff, access to 4x4 vehicles, sufficient staffing, relevant credentials and experience, and compliance with safety and industry standards. Vendors must also demonstrate a minimum of 3 previous tower inspection projects within the past 5 years, as well as experience with grounding, anchor guard devices, and various tower types. The evaluation also considers the vendors' labor rates.
The estimated schedule of completions for FY24 is 10% in Q1, 40% in Q2, 35% in Q3, and 15% in Q4. The contract term is for FY24, with no mention of renewal options.
