Statement of Work/Specifications
A.1.1 Introduction
The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a contract for dairy products for the
Metropolitan Detention Center located in Brooklyn, NY.
A.1.2 Place of Performance
All Supplies Shall Be Delivered to:
MDC Brooklyn
80 29th Street
Brooklyn, NY 11232
A.1.3 Delivery Order Information
MDC Brooklyn will receive deliveries each Monday and Thursday of each week. The estimated total for delivery each Monday is 10,800 each. The estimated delivery for each Thursday is
14,400 each. Deliveries must be made each Monday and Thursday between 7:00AM and
11:00AM, with the exception of Federal holidays. Alternate arrangements for deliveries which fall on Federal holidays will be as mutually agreed upon by both parties.

All invoices shall be e‐mailed to Bro‐accounting‐s@bop.gov, MKugler@bop.gov and
MMarcketta@bop.gov (preferred) or mailed to the following address:

A.2.1 Contract Pricing
Products are required to be provided in accordance with specifications set forth in Section A.2.2 of this solicitation.
The bidder is required to submit a completed copy of the schedule of items, located in section
A.2.3. Pursuant to FAR 17.203(b), the Government’s evaluation shall be inclusive of options.
Quotes shall be evaluated for award based solely upon price. Faith based and Community‐
Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Any resulting contract shall be an indefinite delivery/requirements type contract. As such quantities listed are estimates only and are not a representation to a bidder or contract or that the estimated quantities will be required or ordered, or that conditions affecting the requirements will be stable or normal.
A.2.2 Schedule of Items and Prices
Performance Period: January 2, 2024 – March 28, 2024
A.2.3 Type of Containers
Kosher Dairy, Milk, Pasteurized, Nonfat, Skim, or Fat Free, No Flavor. (CID A‐A‐20338A, Group I, Type D, Flavor 5 ‐ No Flavor, Packaging size c or d, Agricultural practice (1)). ½ pint containers. *Each individual package must be marked with the kosher certification hechsher.
