Questions January 16 2018
1) May we get permission to make one run up the canyon with one of our potential shuttle vehicles?
a. Test runs of shuttle vehicles in Sabino and Bear Canyons by potential applicants will not be authorized. Potential applicants can gather data concerning the shuttle system road and its parameters via noninvasive surveys on foot. The surveys must be coordinated in advance with the Santa Catalina District Ranger.
2) Will there be any changes to the prospectus process and deadline if a government shutdown were to occur?
a. We cannot forecast what might or might not happen at midnight on 1/19. Business will continue as is until we are directed otherwise. Should there be a lapse in funding, direction will be provided to employees, the public, and those doing business with the Forest Service, such as applicants for the Sabino Canyon shuttle system. The website will be updated should there be any change in the prospectus.
