About this file
This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (Form PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). The FWC is seeking to replace and modify the generators on its SAFE 38 Full Cabin vessels. The new generators need to be compatible with the vessels and installed by the manufacturer, SAFE Boats International, LLC, to maintain the vessels' warranties. The FWC is requesting information from prospective vendors regarding their ability to supply the required commodities or services. The contract term is 3 years upon issuance of the initial Purchase Order.
The estimated dollar amount for this single-source procurement is $400,000. The FWC must use the manufacturer, SAFE Boats International, LLC, for the replacement and installation of the new generators, including modification of the vessels, as the vessels are under warranty and using other vendors would void the warranty. The FWC is requesting that any prospective vendors provide information regarding their ability to supply the required commodities or services by November 22, 2022.
