About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Research Institute (FWRI). The request is for Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI), Inc. software licenses, new concurrent use ESRI licensing, maintenance, and technical support for a 3-year term from 10/1/2022 to 9/30/2025. The ESRI software is the core of FWC/FWRI's GIS capabilities, used for distribution of maps and spatial data, field data collection, resource mapping, spatial analysis, operational awareness, cartographic production, and enterprise GIS database management. The estimated dollar amount is $950,000.00. FWC/FWRI is requesting authority to purchase ESRI products as a sole source, as the software is proprietary and ESRI is the only source for the required maintenance and concurrent use licensing, which includes technical support and rights to new software versions.

The agency has determined that the services or commodities described are only available from a single source, ESRI. Prospective vendors must provide information in writing regarding their ability to supply the required products or services by the deadline of May 13, 2022 2:30PM ET. The contractor/vendor selected must warrant the capability to fully perform the contract requirements and comply with all applicable rules and laws.
