About this file
This is Addendum 1 to a solicitation issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for Lake Miccosukee Mechanical Muck Management (FWC 26/27-11). The FWC is seeking competitive pricing from contractors to perform mechanical muck management utilizing heavy equipment to disturb the lake bottom, exposing fresh moist muck to accelerate the deterioration process and maximize the amount of muck undergoing deterioration. The muck may require repeated treatments per specifications. All bid responses must be received no later than 4:00 PM ET on Monday, October 27, 2025. Prospective vendors must be registered in both the MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) system and SunBiz prior to bid opening.
This addendum specifically updates the project budget from $3,255,000.00 to $355,000.00 in Section 6.8 of the Scope of Work. Funding is provided by the FWC's Aquatic Habitat Restoration/Enhancement Subsection (AHRES). The project budget may increase or decrease based on environmental conditions and program budgets, with the total invoice amount not to exceed the purchase order amount. Protests to the solicitation must be filed with the FWC Purchasing Office in Tallahassee within the timeframe prescribed by Florida Statutes Section 120.57(3) and Chapter 28-110, Florida Administrative Code.
