About this file

This Addendum 1 document, issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) Procurement Office on April 8, 2026, provides clarifications and answers to bidder inquiries regarding Solicitation No. FWC 25/26-95 for a multibeam sonar system for fisheries research. The addendum addresses two key questions from potential bidders: the first concerns the pole-mounting capability and compatibility with the FWC's universal sonar mount (USM), for which the FWC provided photographic references of the mount specification (part number 500-9002-R2, purchased in October 2017, fitting within the "Standard Model" format); the second question requests clarification on service location, which the FWC confirmed is a commodity purchase rather than a service contract, with delivery designated to 100 8th Ave. SE, St. Petersburg, FL, 33701 USA. All bid responses must be received no later than 4:00 PM ET on Saturday, August 16, 2025, with protests subject to the filing requirements and timeframes specified in Florida Statutes Section 120.57(3) and Chapter 28-110 of the Florida Administrative Code.

The addendum does not contain pricing information, set-aside designations, or details regarding incumbent vendors. This document functions solely as a clarification mechanism to ensure bidders understand the technical specifications and delivery logistics for the multibeam sonar system procurement, allowing them to prepare accurate and responsive proposals within the established submission timeline.

QUESTION #1

Per the SOW 2.10 – Pole mount capable – compatible with universal sonar mount, please send picture of pole.

ANSWER #1

Pictures of FWRI universal sonar mount (i.e., USM) can be found below (Figures 1-3). The USM was purchased Oct.

2017 and has part number 500-9002-R2; should fall within the “Standard Model” format.

QUESTION #2

Please also advise location for service.

ANSWER #2

To confirm, this is commodity ITB; not for a service (i.e., not requesting a mapping service contract). The location for sonar delivery is 100 8th Ave. SE, St. Petersburg, FL, 33701 USA.
