About this file

This is Addendum 1 to an Invitation to Bid issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for the procurement of select herbicides and adjuvants for invasive plant species control on statewide public conservation lands. The addendum addresses questions and answers submitted by prospective bidders regarding product specifications. The solicitation seeks competitive pricing for multiple herbicide formulations, including glyphosate (aquatic and terrestrial), imazamox, imazapic, imazapyr, and triclopyr (amine and ester formulations) in various container sizes. All responses must be received by 4:00 PM ET on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, with public bid opening and anticipated award scheduled for the same date and April 21, 2026, respectively. The contract term is one year from purchase order issuance with an optional one-year renewal period at the Commission's discretion, and all deliveries must be completed within fourteen days of order issuance.

The addendum clarifies that certain herbicide products specified in the solicitation (Imazapyr 22.6% aquatic, Triclopyr 44.4% aquatic, Triclopyr ester 61.6%, and Imazapyr 53%) are not available in the specified 265-gallon container size but are sold in 270-gallon totes. In response to a bidder inquiry, the FWC determined that the price sheet would remain unchanged and no modifications would be considered, requiring bidders to submit pricing based on the specifications as written. Pricing must be quoted per unit in whole cents FOB destination, excluding Federal and State sales or use taxes. The solicitation is structured as a multiple-award procurement awarding to the lowest five bidders within 25% of the low bid per herbicide product, with liquidated damages of 10% of total order value per calendar day applicable for failure to meet delivery deadlines.

QUESTION #1

We are submitting a bid package for this solicitation. I have a question regarding a few of the line items.

For certain line items, the 265 gal sku that is ] listed doesn’t exist for that product:

Products not sold in 265-gal totes:

• Imazapyr 22.6% (aquatic), is sold in 270-gal totes

• Triclopyr 44.4% aquatic is sold in 270-gal totes

• triclopyr ester 61.6% is sold in 270-gal totes

• Imazapyr 53% is sold in 270-gal totes

Please let me know if you plan to revise it to a 270 gal sku.

ANSWER #1

The price sheet is as is and no further modifications will be considered.
