About this file

This is an Addendum No. 1 for a solicitation (FWC 25/26-01) issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for Babcock/Webb Wild Management Area (WMA) Fence Supply for Fiscal Year 25/26. The solicitation is specifically for fencing supplies only, with all responses required to be submitted by 2:00 PM (ET) on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. The addendum includes a series of questions and answers that clarify details about the fence supply procurement, emphasizing that the bid is solely for materials and does not include removal, reconstruction, or installation services.

Key specifications for the fence supplies include blunt pine posts from the southeastern U.S., 6.5 ft tall posts, 4-point configuration, and 1.33 lb/ft Class III Galvanization. The FWC will provide a forklift on-site for unloading and has confirmed sufficient property space for truck and semi-trailer maneuvering. Vendors are requested to provide 1 week's notice for deliveries, and the FWC will handle unloading of materials. The procurement allows for advance delivery scheduling, with the understanding that FWC personnel will be present to receive and unload the fencing materials.
