About this file

This is an Addendum No. 1 issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for Solicitation No. FWC 24/25-43, "Yucca Pens and 41 Tract Forestry Mulching." The addendum contains questions and answers related to the solicitation. All responses must be received no later than 2:30 PM (ET) on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. The project requires forestry mulching services using specific equipment requirements, including a minimum 170 horsepower rubber-tired mulcher that must be approved by the Project Manager.

The project has an allocated budget of $100,000 for the current fiscal year, with potential increases or decreases based on available funding. The final acreage and locations for mechanical vegetation treatment will be determined based on quoted price, funding availability, and hydrological conditions. The addendum clarifies that there will likely be more acreage than annual funding can cover, and future funding will be determined through budgeting processes. The solicitation specifically denied a request to use 100 horsepower machines with rubber tracks and Dennis Cimaf mulching head, maintaining the requirement for 170 horsepower equipment.
