About this file
This document is an addendum issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for Solicitation No. FWC 23/24-74, "Frog Pond North PSGHA Dove Field Preparation and Maintenance". The project involves the preparation and maintenance of a dove field located within the Frog Pond North Public Small Game Hunting Area (PSGHA). The addendum provides questions and answers related to the project, including the estimated budget of $235,000, the fact that this work was previously contracted through separate and multiple written quotes annually, and that the three secondary tillage treatments cannot be done consecutively but must have time in between each treatment. The contract opportunity is located in Leon County and Tampa City, Florida.
The addendum indicates that the FWC is seeking competitive pricing for this project and that bidders must be registered in the MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) system and with SunBiz prior to the bid opening, which is scheduled for 2:00 PM (ET) on Thursday, February 15, 2024. The contract term is not specified in the addendum.

FWC SOLICITATION ADDENDUM 2
BEGIN ADDENDUM
QUESTION #1
What is the budget for this project?
ANSWER #1
The estimated budget for this project over the life of the contract is $235,000.
However, budgets are subject to change and FWC will increase or decrease the size of the project based on budget and bids received.
QUESTION #2
Has this project been in a previous contract? If so, how much was the contract for?
ANSWER #2
The work included in this project was previously contracted through separate and multiple written quotes annually (i.e., field preparation, mowing). It has not been solicited as a single project. Last year approximately $28,500 was spent on field preparation activities and approximately $11,000 was spent on mowing activities.
QUESTION #3
Can the three secondary tillage treatments be done consecutively or is it required to have time in between each treatment?
ANSWER #3
The secondary tillage treatments may not be completed consecutively as there must be time in between each treatment (approximately one to two weeks depending on the treatment) to allow time for the vegetation to decompose before the next treatment. The Project Manager will work closely with the Vendor on the preferred timeline.
