QUESTION #1
Does the chassis have a sliding window, looking for this sliding window to be installed in the box or body only, to line up with the chassis window?
ANSWER #1
The chassis has a sliding window. There needs to be a sliding window installed in the box to line up with the chassis window.
QUESTION #2
Does this dry freight box require a curb side entry door? If so, size of door and if upper window is required.
ANSWER #2
Yes, see Answer #3 for specifications.
QUESTION #3
Side door is called out as well as step well in this same section. Do you require a door and step well?
ANSWER #3
Furnish and install One (1) FRP side access door with framing and step well.
Standard size door that matches the aluminum sheet panel width and door height to be approximately the center line height of the attic. Located just behind the vertical radius corner, so the door framing fits. With three door hinges located toward the front so the door swings toward the front. One T-type holder to keep the door open pass 90 degrees. One junior paddle type lock that can be unlatched from the outside and inside of the truck box. One dual hinge pipe lock with handle and swing hasp over the paddle lock. No sharp edges and pipe needs to have caps. Appropriate grab handles for egress and ingress through the side door.
Furnish and install one aluminum deck plate step well, approximately 31 ¾” wide inside and 27” deep. Each step is 9” deep and each riser is approximately 8” high.
One aluminum deck plate step well with an aluminum hinged swing down floor to cover the step well. A vertical holder will be needed to hold the swing up floor in place against the front bulkhead with a small rubber bumper on the bulkhead.
Hinged toward the front of the step well. No sharp edges on swing down floor and step well.
