The addendum provides answers to questions submitted by prospective bidders regarding items such as the inclusion of construction materials in the bid price, the extent of required capping, and access to certain gates. The original solicitation had a response deadline of December 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM ET.

BEGIN ADDENDUM #1

ITEM #1 – QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

QUESTION #1: Page 12 #8 states to provide copies of all load trip tickets, and page price sheet lists a bid price for entire section. Are we including construction materials or being reimbursed?

ANSWER #1: All costs should be included in the bid price, including the anticipated cost of materials. No cost reimbursement elements are not included in this project.

Load trip tickets are used for recordkeeping and verification that the correct material was used.

QUESTION #2: Are we to bid for “capping” with aggregate on all 10.2 miles or on an “as needed” basis determined by contractor? This could be problematic as a competent contractor could likely “refresh” the roadways with existing and cap with a light coat of fresh material.

ANSWER #2: Capping should be used where necessary to achieve a uniform road surface as specified in the Scope of Work and to the satisfaction of the FWC Project

Manager.

QUESTION #3: What is the project budget?

ANSWER #3: $250,000.

QUESTION #4: Will the contractor have access to the gates located the end of the 3,2 mile

Spoonbill Pass and the entrance to Loop Road from HWY 832?

ANSWER #4: No.
