About this file
This document is an addendum to a solicitation (FWC 22/23-100) issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for the "Spirit of the Wild Tree & Shrub Planting" project. The addendum provides clarification on the project deadlines, stating that the project should be completed within 6 weeks of the Notice to Proceed, which may extend the completion date beyond the original June 15, 2023 target, as long as the planting begins prior to June 30, 2023. The project will take place in the Leon County and Tallahassee City jurisdictions within the state of Florida.
The solicitation seeks competitive pricing for the tree and shrub planting work, and vendors must be registered in the MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) system and with SunBiz prior to the bid opening on May 11, 2023 at 2:30 PM ET. The contract is for the Spirit of the Wild Wildlife Management Area project, and FWC may, at its sole discretion, extend the completion date due to conditions beyond the contractor's control.

FWC SOLICITATION ADDENDUM 2
BEGIN ADDENDUM
QUESTION #1
Can you please clarify the deadlines for project start, project completion, and survival survey? It looks like the project is required to be completed within 6 weeks of NTP AND before 6/15/23. Those two deadlines are in conflict, as we are 6 weeks from 6/15/23 presently.
ANSWER #1
Per the Scope of Work, FWC may, at its sole discretion, extend the completion date due to conditions beyond the Contractor’s control. The project should be completed within 6 weeks of the Notice to Proceed, which may extend the completion date beyond June 15th, 2023. However, the start of the project planting must begin prior to June 30th, 2023.
