About this file

This document is an Addendum to the Request for Bid (RFB) issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for "BIG BEND WMA ACCESS ROAD MAINTENANCE GRADING AND ROAD MATERIAL", Solicitation No. FWC 22/23-53. The RFB seeks competitive pricing for maintenance grading and road material application on designated sections of Cow Creek Grade, Martin Grade, and Gentle Woods Road within the Big Bend Wildlife Management Area. The work includes grading without additional discing or compaction, as well as spreading new road material to create a smooth vehicular travel surface. The bid responses are due by 10:00 AM ET on March 3, 2023, and the contract term is not specified.

The Addendum provides answers to several questions, clarifying that the contractor would not be responsible for compaction of new road material, and that contractors can bid on just the Hickory Mound Unit (Job 1) if desired, rather than having to bid on both Job 1 and Job 2. There are no incumbent contractors for this solicitation, and the new road material would only be applied to the specific road segments identified in the Scope of Work and associated figures.
