About this file

This document is an addendum to a solicitation issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for PROGETTI SCOREBOARD AND TIMERS, Solicitation No. FWC 22/23-42. The addendum provides answers to three questions related to the existing controllers, data concentrator, and control room for the scoreboard and timer system. According to the answers, the current controllers have the model number EP09M-F5 and the Laporte release version 53. The FWC indicates that if these controllers do not meet the required functionality, the bid should include any necessary upgrades. The addendum also confirms that a final control/media room will be located in the main hall, and if the main hall is not constructed in time, a temporary building will be provided to house the control/media room. All responses to this solicitation must be received by 10:30 AM (ET) on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

The related state and local contract opportunity is for the PROGETTI SCOREBOARD AND TIMERS project, which is being solicited by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in the state of Florida, specifically in Leon County and the city of Tallahassee. No additional details are provided regarding pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or other salient information.

FWC SOLICITATION ADDENDUM 2

BEGIN ADDENDUM

QUESTION #1

It will be very helpful if we could have some pictures of the controllers with the revision number (this appears for a second when you turn on the controllers). From these pictures, we’ll understand if the motherboards and microchips are the latest version and can be updated with the latest revision.

ANSWER #1

The number that appears when the controller is turned on is: EP09M-F5, Laporte release: 53

If these Progetti control units (EP09M-F5) are not capable of driving any model of trap machine, interfacing highly sensitive microphones so that athletes can launch the targets and transmit to the rest of the system all the information useful for the correct management and visualization of results, then that should be noted on the bid and the bid should include any necessary upgrades to accommodate these needs.

FWC SOLICITATION ADDENDUM 3

QUESTION #2

We’ll need to know if they already have the Data Concentrator with Slaves and

Multipull software. Without these, the scoreboards are useless.

ANSWER #2

Progetti advertises that their control units are capable of driving any model of trap machine, interfacing highly sensitive microphones so that athletes can launch the targets and transmit to the rest of the system all the information useful for the correct management and visualization of results. If the model controller Progetti supplied –

EP09M-F5 – does not transmit to the rest of the system all the information useful for the correct management and visualization of results as Progetti advertises, then that information should be noted on the bid and the bid should include any necessary upgrades to accommodate these needs.

QUESTION #3

Do they already have a control room? (from the Google satellite it doesn’t seems so).

FWC SOLICITATION ADDENDUM 4

ANSWER #3

The final control/media room will be located in the main hall. If the main hall is not constructed before the installation of the scoreboards, the owner will provide a temporary building to house the control/media room in order to facilitate the installation of the scoreboards.
