About this file

This document is an addendum to a solicitation issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for Aquatic Plant Management within the Northwest Florida Water Management District and the Suwannee River Water Management District. The addendum includes a correction to the web address for the MyFloridaMarketPlace Vendor Information Portal, a revised exhibit listing the approved water bodies, and responses to questions from prospective respondents. The solicitation seeks competitive proposals for aquatic vegetation control services, with an estimated total budget of $10,000,000 for all anticipated contracts. Four different contracts are expected to be awarded, with a primary and secondary contract for each water management district. Proposals are due by 2:00 PM ET on Friday, May 13, 2022.

The revised exhibit lists the specific water bodies within the Suwannee River Water Management District where services will be required. The questions and answers address topics such as the overall budget and whether certain lakes were correctly included in the solicitation. Respondents must be registered in the MyFloridaMarketPlace system and with Sunbiz prior to the bid opening.

BEGIN ADDENDUM #1

ITEM #1 – CORRECTION TO MFMP VENDOR INFORMATION PORTAL WEB ADDRESS:

All references to the Vendor Bid System (VBS) throughout the Solicitation and Contract Documents shall be replaced with “MyFloridaMarketPlace Vendor Information Portal (MFMP VIP)”. All references to the

VBS web address (http://vbs.dms.state.fl.us/vbs/mainmenu) shall be replaced with https://vendor.myfloridamarketplace.com/.

ITEM #2 – REVISED EXHIBIT II

Exhibit II to the Scope of Work, Approved Water Body Listing for the Suwannee River Water

Management District, is hereby deleted and replaced with Revised Exhibit II, attached hereto and made a part of the solicitation.

ITEM #3 – QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Question #1: Does the $10M budget account for both NWFWMD and SRWMD? Or is $10M budget per district?

Answer #1: It is anticipated that there will be four (4) different contracts awarded – a primary and secondary for each Water Management District. The $10,000,000 is an estimate for all contracts, funding is based on each fiscal year allocation.

Question #2: In the list of lakes for FWC 21/22-97-Suwannee River WMD, most of the lakes listed for Putnam County along with Orange Lake in Alachua County have, in the past, been part of the St. Johns River North WMD district. In RFP FWC

21/22-66, from March, Exhibit 1 replaced the first list of lakes. Now several of the lakes listed in the Suwannee WMD RFP ( particularly Orange Lake ) were listed in that Exhibit 1 from FWC 21/22-66, St. Johns North WMD. Is this accurate, has there been a redistricting of lakes or is this an error.

Answer #2: See Addendum #1, Item #2.
