About this file

This document is an addendum to a solicitation issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for the FWC 21/22-116 Hillsborough County Derelict Vessel Removal Project. The addendum addresses questions received regarding the removal process, including that the awarded contractor will be responsible for the entire removal process, such as dewatering, lifting, towing, loading, and fully removing each vessel from the waters of the state and destroying each vessel in an authorized landfill. The solicitation is open to any and all responsible, responsive contractors, and the responses are due no later than 10:30 AM ET on Monday, June 27, 2022.

The solicitation does not allow for bidding only the destruction and disposal portion of the work, as the awarded contractor will be responsible for the entire removal process. The addendum also states that the FWC does not have any information on potential debris collection vessel companies that plan to bid on this project, as the solicitation is open to any and all responsible, responsive contractors.
