About this file

This document is a Minimum Technical Specifications sheet for a United States Forest Service (USFS) Land Mobile Radio project, specifically detailing requirements for an outdoor aluminum enclosure for a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell. The specifications call for an enclosure designed to accommodate an Adaptive Energy P-250i Solid Oxide Fuel Cell and two 20-lb propane cylinders, with specific dimensional and structural requirements.

Key technical specifications include an aluminum enclosure thicker than 0.085 inches, with separate compartments for the fuel cell and propane cylinders. The enclosure must feature lockable door latches, door and wall vents with louvers/weather hoods, internal vent filter provisions, mounting brackets for equipment, integrated aluminum lifting lugs rated for lifting the entire assembly, weather-sealed power ingress points, and foundational mounting points. The design emphasizes durability, ventilation, security, and adaptable installation options for outdoor environments.
