About this file

This file contains technical specifications for fuel bladders required under solicitation 140L0226Q0007 issued by the Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management Alaska Region.

The specification details requirements for collapsible fuel bladders available in three capacity options: 500, 1,000, and 2,000 gallons. Bladders must be ISO 9001:2015 certified and constructed from 30 mil military specification Grade "A" fuel fabric with urethane coating, providing weather and UV degradation resistance. Key structural features include carry handles on both long sides, 3-inch overlapping welds, and reinforced corners at 180 mil thickness. The bladders must include two 2-inch capped camlock fittings for fill and discharge operations, one 2-inch capped camlock vent fitting with a vented spark arrestor, and all fittings must be positioned through 60 mil reinforcement patches with 90 mil abrasion protective patches on interior and exterior surfaces. Each bladder shall be supplied with a military-style emergency repair kit with clamps, operation manual, and warranty coverage. The collapsible design facilitates storage and transport requirements.
