About this file
This document is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) 1148-FRZ BEEF from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the procurement of frozen beef and soy patties and ground beef and soy. The Commonwealth is requesting bids for 19,200 pounds of 4oz beef/soy patties and 57,000 pounds of ground beef/soy to be delivered in 6,400 pound and 19,000 pound increments on October 4, November 1, and December 1. The bid submission deadline is September 22, 2016 at 9:00 AM. The IFB outlines detailed specifications for the products, including requirements for fat and sodium content, packaging, and prohibited ingredients. Delivery hours and security clearance procedures for vendors are also specified.
The IFB requires pricing to be quoted on a per pound basis, with all prices to be F.O.B. destination. There are no set-asides or incumbent information provided. The contract term is not explicitly stated, though the delivery schedule suggests a 3-month contract period from October to December 2016.
