The document outlines comprehensive packaging, labeling, and quality assurance requirements for contractors. Tortillas must be kept frozen at 0 degrees Fahrenheit or lower, with a shelf life of at least one year from manufacturing date. Two material codes are specified: 110394 for whole grain or whole grain-rich 8-inch frozen tortillas in 12/24 count cases, and 110741 for whole grain frozen tortillas in 24/1 lb. bags. Each truck delivery can include 1,500 cases with a net weight between 36,000-40,500 lbs. Contractors must provide a Certificate of Analysis and immediately notify the government of any lots failing to meet contract requirements.
