OFFICE OF THE ADJUTANT GENERAL
Problem Statement Problem Statement – HQ TXANG is requesting a 24 X 36 FREE-STANDING SHELTER to be located behind Bldg. 9 on Camp Mabry in order to provide an area for the TAG and other Air Senior Leader utilization; as well as, Airmen respite, unit cohesion activities, and required training.
The facility will be used to protect personnel and equipment from the elements such as direct sun, rain, hail, etc. Currently HQ does not have an area for personnel over flow/outdoor assemblies
Facts:

• Due to location, the project is expected to require a State Antiquities Permit for the Camp Mabry

• The personnel shelter at Headquarters TXANG may be made available for other organizations
• 24’ X 36’ Miscellaneous Personnel Shelter (Traditional Style – to be developed with materials/design elements conforming to or complementing the historic nature of Camp Mabry) to be installed within 10 weeks at a total cost of $62,000.00-$70,000.00 – funded by TXANG.
