Soil Screen Minimum Requirements

· Towable with 1 ton pick-up truck.

· Pintle / Lunette ring type hitch equipped.

· Street legal towable in all respects, to include all required 12 volt lighting, break-away controller and safety chains.

· Minimum 15 inch 8 ply tires.

· Removable mud flaps.

· Frame to be of structural tube steel construction.

· The plant must be finished with a thermal set TGIC polyester powder coat finish.

· Minimum 10HP air cooled Diesel engine.

· Vibratory unit must be of non-hydraulic design.

· Electric start, 12 volt system.

· The wiring of unit is to be sealed wiring harness to minimize failure.

· Hour meter.

· Engine must be equipped with automatic mechanism for both high temperature and low oil engine shut down.

· Dual-stage air filter with pre-cleaner.

· Lockable engine and control compartments.

· Full set of manuals to include Operator, Parts and Service.

· Capable of producing screened material not to exceed ½ inch in diameter.

· Capable of changing size of product produced.

· Removable / replaceable screens.

· Double decked screen box.

· Feed hopper not to exceed 8.5 feet in height.

· Feed hopper must accommodate a bucket width of 7.5 feet minimum.

· Feed hopper must have a minimum capacity to accommodate a loaders with a ½ to 1.75 cubic yard bucket during hopper loading.

· Discharge chamber for screened product must accommodate a bucket with of 94 inches minimum.

· The screen box shall be a minimum of (six) 6” wide and (five) 5” long and be driven mechanically without the use of hydraulics.

· The screening plant must come equipped with a 1-1/2” x 1-1/2” woven top deck and a ½” x ½” woven bottom screen.

· An additional woven screen with 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” openings to be shipped with the screening plant.

· The screening plant must be capable of interchanging from end tensioned woven screens to end tensioned harp/piano wire screens in no more than 1 hour.

· The screening plant must come equipped with a 7,000 lb. axle, with electric brakes on the rear capable of moving portable vibratory screening plant easily and efficiently from site to site.

· Plant must carry a two (2) year parts and labor warranty.
