The system consists of duplex pretreatment, two reverse osmosis systems, a CDI unit, and deionizer polishing. The system is designed to provide CAP III purified water quality at 125 gpm measured at the 0.1-micron final filters.

The polishing system consists of two distribution pumps (parallel), four Super 30 vessels (2 sets of 2 in parallel), 185nm ultraviolet sterilizer, and 0.1-micron cartridge filter/housings (parallel). The four (4) Super 30 mixed bed polishing deionizers’ function is to polish the water in the recirculation loop. The columns are designed to run two (2) in parallel followed by a second set of (2) in parallel.
