LINE 1 SPECS: Uinta Wasatch Cache NF Recreation Two Stroke Mountain Sled SLC

Delivery Address: 6944 South 300 East Salt Lake City, UT 84121

Track 154-155”X 15-16”X 2.75-3” (Length-Width-Lugs/Paddle Height) The length of the track provides maximum floatation in deep snow conditions. Longer length means less chance of getting stuck which means less fatigue while operating the vehicle.

The lugs are the paddles on the track that provide the traction to propel the vehicle. The longer length helps with floatation in the deep powder conditions that we will be in, and they provide more power to help from getting stuck.

Ski’s Ski stance between the range of 35 to 38 inches As mentioned earlier this is a mountain sled that will be used for winter work in deep powder conditions. The skis help steer the snowmobile and the width of the skis help determine how to maneuver the vehicle.

Engine Two Stroke 840 CC or higher The two stroke engine is the preferred engine for deep snow conditions because of the difference in weight.

Direct Injection For best power-to-weight ratio

Starter

Two methods of starting the machine are preferred to provide options of starting the machine during the winter season. The manual pull start, where you pull a rope to turn the engine, and an electric start. The preferred method for the electric start option is something that does not weigh more than five pounds. However, a battery is acceptable if required for the electric start.

Dry Weight 415 lbs.-470 lbs.

Overall Height: 45 Inches-55 Inches

SPECS 10: Uinta Wasatch Cache NF Four Stroke Utility Mountain Sled

Delivery Address: 2460 S Hwy 40, Heber City, UT 84032

Description: The four-stroke mountain sled is needed for grooming cross country ski trails. Required specifications of snowmobile are as follows:

· Track

· 155”X20+”X<2” (Length-Width-Lugs/Paddle Height) The length and width of the track provides maximum traction while towing. The length and width also means less chance of getting stuck while packing fresh snow which means less fatigue while operating the vehicle. We do not want any longer lug because they would leave impressions through the groomed track

· Ski’s

· Ski stance between the range of 39 to 41 inches This is a utility sled that will be used for towing grooming equipment, both in powder and packed conditions.

· Engine

· Four stroke 950 CC or higher The four-stroke engine is the preferred engine for towing because of the difference in weight and power. The 950cc provides enough power to tow 800 pound grooming equipment.

· Cooling The cooling system currently best suited to towing is through a radiator in the front of the snowmobile. This radiator placement allows for cooling airflow, which is effective even at slow speeds.

· Weight

· Dry Weight 700 lbs.-750 lbs. Keep the weight high for the so that it is maximally effective against its towing payload while braking.

· Integrated Winch

· A winch capable of pulling at least 800 lbs is needed. This winch would be capable of pulling grooming equipment out of deep snow after a storm. Also, it would be capable of getting the snowmobile free when it is stuck.
