About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the State of Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, Office of Motorist Modernization, seeking information from parties with expertise concerning an automated software application testing solution. The RFI provides questions and answers related to the scope of work, including that the majority of applications are web-based with a small mainframe footprint, the Department currently uses JMeter for performance testing, and that automated testing capabilities are sought across regression, feature, integration, unit, user interface, load, infrastructure performance, application security, capacity, stress, and volume testing. The Department has a private cloud environment, uses Azure DevOps, and is open to exploring cloud-based test automation tools.

Regarding pricing and the current environment, the Department does not have a specified budget, and the incumbent ORION system was built in-house using a system integrator. The Department is seeking information on potential solutions and does not have a timeline determined for releasing a formal Request for Proposal at this time.
