About this file

This document is an award posting from the Florida Keys Electric Cooperative Association, Inc. (FKEC) for Bid #25-12, announcing the procurement of two new ~48' insulated hydraulic digger derrick trucks. The contract was awarded to Ring Power Corporation on April 25, 2025, for the purchase of two specialized utility vehicles designed for electric cooperative infrastructure maintenance. The bid specifications called for single rear axle trucks with a regular cab, likely based on an International MV607 or similar chassis with approximately 33,000 GVWR.

FKEC explicitly notes that this was not a public bid opening and reserves the right to protect the privacy of bidders and vendors. The cooperative also asserts that under Florida Statute Title X, Chapter 119, they do not meet the definition of a "state and local government agency" and are therefore not subject to certain statutory enforcement requirements. No specific pricing details or contract value are disclosed in this award posting document.
