STATEMENT OF WORK
Replace Generator Assembly
Vehicle Registration #: 15L00020
WORK ORDER NUMBER: 2024020900001
DATED: 30 May 2024
1. GENERAL INFORMATION:
Replacement of the generator to the 2015 KME Panther P-31 Rescue Fire Truck (15L00020) is needed to ensure the vehicle is in safe and serviceable condition for use. This will include the replacement of the generator assembly and any additional parts found defective during the repairs. When complete the fire truck should have a fully functioning generator, allowing for the use of the on-scene lighting. This work will consist of supplying/furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and expenses necessary to accomplish the work described below in compliance with manufacturer maintenance manuals. The Air Force will provide transportation to the vendor’s facility up to 2 hours commute from Hanscom AFB, the vendor will be responsible for transportation outside of these parameters.
2. SCOPE: Replace Generator Assembly
Contractor will need to remove the generator and attached parts found defective. All parts must meet OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications to ensure the fire truck operates IAW manufacturer specifications and has original capabilities. All and any parts are to be new or fabricated (renewed or refurbished parts are not authorized). Contract shall repair assemblies listed below:
a. KME Panther MFD P-31 Rescue, Harrison 20kw Hydraulic Generator
• Replace all following parts:

3. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work includes, but is not limited to the following:
a. Contractor shall inspect the fire truck and generator and build in any risks into their proposal. Contractor will contact LGRV (POC: Scott Morey) to coordinate any onsite inspection of the vehicle if needed.
b. Any additional repairs that are found after removal of the generator will need to be sent to the Contracting Officer for further guidance and approval.

c. Provide updates to Project CO. Any repair issues, changes to schedule, or schedule slippages with justification must be reported.
d. Period of Performance 120 days after award of contract
e. Place of Performance is to be at the contractor’s facility, if within the 2 hour commute the
Government will inspect and accept at the contractor’s facility. Vendors outside the 2 hour commute, the inspection/acceptance will be held at destination (Hanscom AFB) upon delivery.
