The RFP may include provisions for set-asides or preferences for qualified small businesses or local contractors as permitted under Michigan procurement regulations. Funding for this project is derived from the relevant state or local government budget allocations, with specific budget amounts and appropriation sources identified in the procurement documents. All bidders must demonstrate technical qualifications, financial capability, and relevant experience in fire alarm system design and installation to be considered for award. Additional evaluation criteria may include proposed timelines, warranty offerings, maintenance plans, and compliance with prevailing wage requirements or other statutory obligations applicable to Michigan public projects.
