WALK IN VAULT PURCHASE AND INSTALL

Background The National Eagle and Wildlife Property Repository (NEWPR) is in need of a secure walk-in vault to secure high dollar items. The walk-in vault will need to be delivered and installed at the NEWPR. The vault will need to be a U.L. Listed Class 1 concrete MegaVault modular vault with a no-floor system designed to surface mount to the existing building slab.

Scope The agency expects this contract to design, fabricate, deliver and install the walk in vault at the NEWPR facility and be sufficiently installed to conform with building and safety codes.

Requirements

Vault Specifications - U.L. Listed Class 1 concrete MEGAvault modular vault five sided, no floor, system designed to meet international security requirements for U.L. listed five-sided Class-1 TRL (torch and tool rating) of 30 x 5.

Inside Vault Dimensions - 14'6" wide x 14'6" deep x 9'9" high Outside Vault Dimensions - 15'0" wide x 15'0" deep x 10'0" high

Vault Door Requirement - 1 U.L. Listed Class-1 right-hand swing fully stainless steel vault door offering a clear opening of 36" wide x 80" high. Door must come with standard dual combination locks, 144-hour three movement time lock, randomly located relocking devices, emergency vault ventilator, premium door stop and bar-style day gate.

Port Vent Requirement - 4 U.L. listed class-1 offset port vent panels for HVAC access to the vault. Duct openings are limited to 4" x 16" and are equally spaced in the ceiling grid.

Conduit Entries - Six 1 ½" diameter offset conduit entries to provide access for phone, electric, alarm and CCTV service into the vault. This access will be centered in the ceiling panel located over the vault door. Utilities (inside and out) will be provided by others.

Fire Sprinkler Entry - one 4" x 4" offset sprinkler fire sprinkler port to provide access for Sprinkler system installation. The sprinkler system installation, including drop heads, will be completed by others.

Delivery ckindsvater Highlight

The contractor will provide all equipment necessary to design, fabricate, deliver, and install the modular vault system.

The contractor will include a complete test and turn over of the vault door unit by a licensed locksmith and will include a combination set up and instruction on vault door usage.

Government-Furnished Property None

Security Requirements All work must be done within Repository work-houiS when employees are present, Monday- Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, to ensure oversight of Repository property.

Place of Performance The location for the delivery and installation of the walk-in Vault will be at the National Eagle and Wildlife Property Repository located on the Rocky Mountain Arsenal, 6550 Gateway Road, Building 128, Commerce City, CO 80022.

Period of Performance The period of performance for this project will be upon award through 30 Sep 2020.
