Sponsorship Opportunity Shuttle/Mobility Carts Kentucky Horse Park
A. Purpose of this Document
This sponsorship opportunity is being issued by the Kentucky Horse Park, an agency of the Commonwealth of Kentucky within the Tourism Arts & Heritage Cabinet and is issued in accordance with KRS 45A.097. The purpose of this document is to solicit responses from multiple individuals or companies interested in reaching a diverse audience, including men, women, and children of all ages, and highly affluent equestrians, as a sponsor of the Shuttle/ Mobility Carts at the Kentucky Horse Park. With over 200 events per year extending over 180 show days and over 1,000,000 visitors from around the world, this sponsorship opportunity will generate thousands of impressions for the interested party.
B. Background
About the Kentucky Horse Park Situated in the heart of Bluegrass on over 1,200 pristine acres, the Kentucky Horse Park is widely known as one of the state’s leading tourist attractions and one of the nation’s premier equine competition facilities. Major events such as the Kentucky Three#Day Event, Breyerfest, Junior League Horse Show, United States Equestrian Federation Pony Finals, The National Horse Show, and the US Dressage Finals are held annually at the Kentucky Horse Park.
However, you will also reach a much more expansive audience with non#equestrian events like: Truck & Tractor Pulls, Weddings, Rodeos, 5K’s, Youth Soccer Leagues, Dog Shows and Music Festivals, just to name a few. At the Kentucky Horse Park, you will reach local and international visitors and equestrians all year long.
About Shuttle/Mobility Carts With an estimated 1,000,000 visitors and competitors visiting the Kentucky Horse Park annually, there is a tremendous need for moving individuals with limited mobility throughout the expansive 1,200 acre venue. This includes transport throughout the Kentucky Horse Park attraction-side, throughout the competition area, and transportation to/from the Kentucky Horse Park Campground, a 260-space campground which remains occupied for more than 43,000 nights/year.
Shuttles are driven by volunteers or Kentucky Horse Park staff to facilitate transportation throughout the venue, as a great amenity for the many visitors and competitors throughout the year. 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12-passenger electric or gas-powered carts are needed, and sponsor will receive major visibility as sponsor of this valuable transportation service.
Mobility Carts include mobility vehicles used by those requiring assistance in navigating the park, inclusive of scooters, wagons, and strollers.
Up to 5 sponsorships will be awarded. The sponsorships for The Shuttle/Mobility Carts can be provided as cash only, cash plus-in kind products, or in-kind products only.
Cash Only: $20,000 per year Cash plus in-kind products: $10,000 cash plus $10,000 in-kind products per year In-kind products Only: $15,000 per year
