Sponsorship Opportunity Parking Support
1. Purpose of this Document
A. This sponsorship opportunity is being issued by the Kentucky Horse Park, an agency of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and is issued in accordance with KRS 45A.097. The purpose of this document is to solicit responses from one or more individuals or companies interested in reaching a diverse audience, including highly affluent equestrians, through the Parking Support sponsorship with the Kentucky Horse Park. With over 200 events per year extending over 180 show days and over 500,000 visitors from around the world, this sponsorship will generate thousands of impressions for the interested party.
2. Background
A. Situated in the heart of the Bluegrass on over 1,200 pristine acres, the Kentucky Horse Park is widely known as one of the state’s leading tourist attractions and one of the nation’s premier equine competition facilities.
Major events such as the Land Rover Kentucky Three#Day Event, Junior League Horse Show, United States Equestrian Federation Pony Finals, The National Horse Show, and US Dressage Finals all are held annually at the Kentucky Horse Park. However, your sponsorship will also reach a much more expansive audience with non#equestrian events such as truck and tractor pulls, weddings, rodeos, 5K races, youth soccer leagues, dog shows and music festivals, just to name a few. At the Kentucky Horse Park, you will reach local and international visitors and equestrians all year long.
B. About Kentucky Horse Park Parking:
Visitors tour the scenic Kentucky Horse Park grounds all year with paid admission and parking fees. While planning for upcoming seasons, the Park is committed to enhancing the overall visitor experience. One strategy for an enhanced experience will be the elimination of parking fees for tourism guests, competitors, and others.
Removing these fees will require increased revenue in other areas. This Parking Support Sponsorship will generate a portion of the replacement income needed.
This Parking Support sponsorship fee for each year is:
# 2024: $35,000 # 2025: $35,000
Some events may not receive complimentary parking due to the limited areas available for the Kentucky Horse Park to generate revenue. Each event is unique and critiera will be developed to make this determination. These criteria will be shared with the Parking Support Sponsor.
