About this file

The document is a Final Addendum (F25-01-005) from the City of Greeley, Colorado, addressing a golf course concessionaire opportunity for the Boomerang Golf Course. The addendum provides responses to potential vendor inquiries regarding the contract, including clarifications on the lease start date (moved to March 3rd), liquor licensing, and operational expectations. The city confirms that the new vendor will ideally obtain the current vendor's temporary liquor license, with an understanding that there might be a brief interruption in service during the licensing process.

The addendum specifies several key operational details: the city prefers in-house kitchen staff preparing fresh meals, prohibits pre-packaged meals, and allows non-exclusive business operations that align with the Scope of Work. The city does not own the existing equipment, food, beverages, or alcohol inventory, so any transfer of these items would be negotiated directly between the outgoing and incoming concessionaires. The document also notes that renovations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, potentially involving either the city or the awarded vendor depending on the scope of work.

o This will be determined on a case by case basis with the Awarded Vendor. Depending on the scope of work, it may be a City responsibility or a Awarded Vendor responsibility.

• Is the award date 2/28/2025, since 02/29/2025 is not a date on the 2025 calendar?

o The Notice of Award date has been moved to March 3rd to accommodate February being a short month.

• Are we able to sell pre-packaged meals from our Fort Collins location?

o No, we prefer in house kitchen staff making fresh meals

o Yes, this is not an exclusive deal. However, you may not conduct any business from either golf course that is not expressly stated in the Scope of Work of this RFP and/or associated contract.

• Are we able to purchase the inventory, including the alcohol from the incumbent contractor?

o The City does not own all of the equipment, any of the food/beverages, or any of the adult beverages (alcohol) the vendor is currently using.
