During on-site visit, NSWC IHD technical representative shall observe non-destructive and functional test setups and all testing.

3.3 Acceptance Test Procedure. The contractor shall update the current Hollister acceptance test procedure ATP TP-93770, to include modifications required for changing the test location to the Chandler, AZ facility. The revised test procedure shall be submitted to the Government for review and approval at least 15 days prior to testing. (CDRL A002)

3.4 Non-destructive Testing (NDT). No NDT shall be conducted that could result in the damage or degradation of the integrity of the unit. Testing shall be performed as shown in Table 1. All non-destructive test and inspection results shall be recorded and provided in the Acceptance Test Report (ATR). (CDRL A003)

3.4.1 The visual inspection shall be conducted in accordance with Pacific Scientific Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) TP- 93770 on the units shown in SOW Table 1. Units shall be visually inspected for defects in workmanship, service-related damage, and conformance to applicable drawings. If not already, units identified in Table 1 shall be marked with the assigned test control number (TCN) to track the items through the test sequence. Photographs (prior to testing) shall be taken to document any non-conformance or damage. Visual inspection results and photographs shall be provided in the Acceptance Test Report.

3.4.2 The bridgewire resistance test shall be conducted on the units two times in accordance with Table 1 and Pacific Scientific ATP-TP-93770. Units shall be tested before and after no-fire testing as required in Table 1. Photograph(s) shall be taken of test setup.

Bridgewire resistance test results, in ohms, shall be provided the Acceptance Test Report.

3.4.3 The insulation resistance test shall be conducted on the units in Table 1 in accordance with Pacific Scientific ATP TP-93770. Photograph(s) shall be taken of test setup.

Insulation resistance test results, in ohms, shall be provided in the Acceptance Test Report.

Attachment ( )

3.4.4 The electrostatic discharge (ESD) test shall be conducted on the units in Table 1 in accordance with Pacific Scientific ATP TP-93770. Photograph(s) shall be taken of test setup. Electrostatic discharge test results shall be provided in the Acceptance Test Report.

3.4.5 The radiographic examination shall be conducted on the units in Table 1 in accordance with Pacific Scientific ATP TP-93770. Radiographic inspection shall be conducted before and after functional testing. Radiographic inspection report and copy of X-ray(s) shall be provided in the Acceptance Test Report.

3.4.6 The no-fire test shall be conducted on the units in Table 1 in accordance with Pacific Scientific ATP TP-93770. Photograph(s) shall be taken of test setup. No-fire test results and, if applicable, associated non-conformance reports, shall be provided in the Acceptance Test Report.

3.5 Functional Testing (Destructive). Testing shall be performed as shown in Table 1. Units shall be temperature conditioning at temperatures -65 °F, 70 °F, or 160 °F as required in Table 1. Temperature conditioning time, for the hot and cold conditions, shall be a minimum of 4 hours and no longer than 24 hours. All test data and inspection results shall be recorded and provided in the Acceptance Test Report (ATR). (CDRL A003)

3.5.1 Prior to functional testing, the units shall be temperature conditioned and then functionally tested in accordance with Table 1 and ATP TP-93770. Photograph(s) shall be taken of test setup.

3.5.2 The grounding, bonding, shielding test shall be conducted on the units in Table 1 after functional testing in accordance with Pacific Scientific ATP TP-93770. Grounding, bonding, shielding test results shall be provided in in the Acceptance Test Report.

3.5.3 Test data, which includes success/failure to cut a 1/6 inch diameter cable, function time, and current and time traces shall be recorded.
