Amendment #1
FE-09-R-003 - LOTUS NOTES SERVICES
We had some questions come in and due to the answers we feel we should give everyone the weekend to prepare their final submissions.
The due date for proposals is now set at October 27, 2008 – 4:30 PM (EST)
All proposals are to be sent via email to: bzieman@fec.gov Questions and Answers:
1. Can the projects be worked on remotely, if we allow onsite time at key points in time when needed for project planning, meeting stakeholders, and delivering solutions? (cuts down on travel expenses and allows us to utilize more than one resources expertise even when only paying for an individual).
The task can include both on-site and remote work. However there is a substantial amount of time required on-site to interact with the users in the requirements generation phases, the testing phases, and the training and implementation phases.
2. Can you provide the names of the contractors/companies who have completed work in the past? (we would like to get a feel for the quality of the work already completed by others to know what we are getting in to.)
PTP SOLUTIONS II LLC
1314 ELSINORE AVENUE
MCLEAN VA
22102-2753
3. What versions of Domino are you on? Notes?
Version 7, with plans to go to Version 8 in the near future.
4. How many total users? About 500
5. What server platform OS ? What client platforms (mac, vista , xp, linux)?
Windows 2003 Server, XP
6. Notes dev or web dev or both? web dev
7. If web dev, what is the target web browser compatibility? Internet explorer 6.0
8. Are there any key points of integration into back-end systems or databases outside of notes for the mentioned applications? No
