About this file
This document is an Addendum No. 1 issued by the Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs (FDVA) for Solicitation No. FDVA-ITB-26-001B, titled "Lopez Nurse Call System", dated August 19, 2025. The addendum addresses vendor questions regarding a nurse call system installation project, including details about wall covering, paint specifications, ceiling tiles, permitting requirements, and inspection processes. The bid is due on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025 at 3:00 PM local time, to be submitted to Jo Ann Snyder, Purchasing Specialist, at the Mary Grizzle State Office Building in Largo, FL.
The addendum provides specific technical specifications for the project, including ARMSTRONG Ceiling Tiles (584BN, 24 in x 24 in), ProMar 200 Zero VOC Interior Latex paint colors for ceilings (Pure White) and walls (Sand Dollar), and confirmation that Pasco County permits will be required. The Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) has already reviewed and approved the plans and will conduct 80% and 100% surveys based on the contractor's phasing and turnover plan. The project involves installing a nurse call system, with potential modifications to existing rooms that have wallpaper, and will require coordination with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for inspections.
