About this file
This is a single source procurement advertisement from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) for Crime-Lite Auto Kit products and services. The procurement is a statutorily mandated fifteen business day advertisement of an intended single source purchase, as required by Florida law. The document provides detailed specifications and justification for why this procurement qualifies as a single source procurement rather than a competitive bid process. The specific products, quantities, delivery timelines, and performance requirements are outlined in the attached supporting documentation referenced within this notice.
The procurement involves specialized equipment identified as the Crime-Lite Auto Kit, which appears to be utilized for law enforcement operational purposes. As a single source procurement, this acquisition bypasses the standard competitive bidding process due to documented justifications that establish the unique nature of the products or services required. The notice serves as the mandatory public advertisement period to allow for any challenges to the single source determination before FDLE proceeds with the procurement. Pricing, payment terms, and funding sources for this acquisition are specified in the supplementary documentation accompanying this notice.
