About this file

This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) filed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) for fixed wing aircraft maintenance and repair services for the Governor's jet. The commodity code is 78181800 - Fixed wing Aircraft maintenance and repair services. The contract term is five (5) years. The FDLE posted this notice on April 29, 2026, with a deadline for receipt of vendor information by May 20, 2026. This posting satisfies the statutorily mandated fifteen business day advertisement period required under Sections 120.57(3) and 287.057(3), Florida Statutes, and Rule 60A-1.045, Florida Administrative Code. No bidders' conference or site visit is referenced in the notice.

The estimated contract value is $1,500,000.00. The intended single source vendor is Textron Aviation located at 9709 E Central, Wichita, Kansas 67206. FDLE justifies the single source acquisition based on existing proprietary maintenance program contracts with Textron, including Pro Advantage, Pro Tech, and Pro Parts programs. FDLE states that if any other vendor provides maintenance and repairs to the aircraft, the warranty provided under these Textron contracts will be voided. The contract is necessary to maintain the Governor's jet in airworthy condition in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration Code of Federal Regulations 91.7 and to support the Governor's security and frequent official travels. The contact for this procurement is Greer Hannigan at the FDLE Central Purchasing office, 850-410-7300, CentralPurchasing@fdle.state.fl.us.
