About this file
This is a Sources Sought announcement from the FDA Office of Acquisitions and Grants Services seeking information from small businesses capable of providing Consumable Gases and Related Products for Laboratory Use for the FDA Atlanta Human and Animal Food Lab (ATLHAFL) and Tobacco Products Laboratories (TPL).
The requirement is for the lease of bulk gas tanks and purchase/delivery of bulk Nitrogen and Argon laboratory gases (UHP 99.999% purity) for use in mass spectrometers, evaporators, and other scientific equipment. The gases are essential for surveillance and regulatory chemical analyses, including trace determination of elements and chemical contaminants. The work requires providing micro-bulk liquid argon systems for ICP-MS and ICP-OES systems, and micro-bulk liquid nitrogen systems for various laboratory equipment. Interested small businesses under NAICS 325120 (Industrial Gas Manufacturing) with size standard of 1,200 employees must submit capability statements by email to Nina.Montgomery@fda.hhs.gov by February 27, 2025, 10:00 AM EST, referencing FDA25SS126816. While not a request for quote, informational pricing is requested.
