1) Please provide us with the damaged UPS make and model number and KVA Ratings?

2) Please and let us know whether the amperage is sufficient for the new UPS or will we need to replace it with a new one?

3) What is the distance between the cutoff switch and the

UPS?

4) Will we need to add an external bypass switch or is there one there already that we can leverage?

5) Please confirm that the job site has working power/electricity?

6) Please confirm if electricity/power is now stable at the job site?

7) Please confirm if the job site has a loading dock or Forklift available for deliveries?

8) Are there electrical One line Diagrams available for the job site?

9) Can you please provide some pictures of the current job site and of the existing electrical cutoff switch?

1) The existing UPS is a modular construction with 3 independent 20kVA modules providing N+1 capability. The total load on the UPS is below 60%. It’s been confirmed that Lab doesn’t anticipate any future increase in load.

2) In accordance with FAR 52.211-6, a Tripp Lite Smart Online 3-Phase UPS SU60K reflects the characteristics and level of quality that will satisfy the Government’s needs

3) The 60 KVA UPS is fed from Panel MDP-A which is about 25 ft. away. It then feeds panel PCA which is approx. 20 ft. away.

4) There are no “external by-pass switches”. The by-pass function is integrated within the existing 60KVA UPS.

5) & 6) Our site has electric power and is fairly stable at this time just like any other place. We also have an emergency generator that covers the whole campus.

7) The room where the UPS will be located does not have a loading dock nor do we have forklift available.

It is important that the installation site be inspected to determine cable lengths and routing. Would this be possible?

At this time, we are not offering site visits, however please see the diagrams and pictures below.

Is it possible to provide detailed drawings of the project area? If drawings are not possible a site visit would definitely help.
