About this file
This document is an Amendment of Solicitation for a Department of the Air Force contract (Solicitation Number FA811825R0047) for remanufacturing KC-135 cylinder assemblies. The amendment modifies the original solicitation by incorporating several Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) clauses, and updating key contract details. The proposal due date is set for 2 June 2025 at 3:00 pm Central Time Zone.
The contract is a 5-year requirements-type contract with option periods, covering "over and above" work for maintenance and repair efforts. Contract line items (CLINs) 1002 and 1003 were renamed from "3-Year Basic" to "Option Period", and CLIN 1003's line item was changed from 0001 to 1001. The contract includes provisions for data reporting requirements such as Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) Reporting, Contract Depot Maintenance Monthly Production Report, Government Property Inventory Report, and Production Surge Plan. Ordering period is from 1 July 2025 through 30 June 2030, with the total contract duration not to exceed 5 years.
