The Georgia Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit has a requirement for an electrofishing control box unit and associated booms and electrodes for sampling a variety of fishes in reservoirs and rivers. We require a system that maximizes efficiency and standardization in a variety of habitats for a diversity of fishes, while minimizing injury to fishes, risk to human operators, and compatibility to existing Smith-Root systems.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible parties may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. No solicitation will be issued. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government.

Responses or inquiries are to be sent to the Contracting Officer, Brian Baker via email at brian_baker@ios.doi.gov no later than 1:00 PM EST, Monday, July 13, 2026.
