Contractor Questions and Answers #2

1. Question: Please provide delivery address(es) for site(s) to receive dry ice.

Answer: Robins AFB. Exact delivery base delivery address will be annotated on purchase order

2. Question: Would Robins AFB be acceptable to a Tuesday weekly delivery instead of Wednesday?

Answer: Yes. Every Tuesday or Wednesday delivery is acceptable.

3. Question: Would Robins AFB be acceptable to HR‐11 dry ice containers (holds approximately 500‐575 pounds) versus the front opening transports (holds approximately 3,500 pounds)? HR‐

11s have a flip lid and would be easier to move around and remove dry ice from versus a large front opening transport. Please see attached a picture of HR‐11 to reference.

Answer: Yes. HR-11 containers are acceptable upon further review.

4. Question: Would Robins AFB have available at the time of delivery staff and a fork lift to unload the HR‐11 dry ice containers as they may be double stacked?

Answer: No staff or forklift will be provided by Robins AFB

5. Question: Please confirm this is for standard dry ice pellets (1/2” diameter).

Answer: Yes, size confirmed as acceptable

6. Question: Will this be delivery to a dock or lab/department within the building?

Answer: No dock access

7. Question: Will security access need to be granted at any point during a delivery (gate check in, additional access stops, etc.)

Answer: Delivery must report to Gate 5 at Robins AFB with purchase order and identification on hand to access Robins AFB.
